Attention OVNI. Né à Paris il y a 45 ans, Christophe Chassol est tout autant explorateur et défricheur que vidéaste
et musicien. Signé en 2012 sur l’aventureux label Tricatel, Chassol a le don de se réinventer à chaque projet en élaborant un vocabulaire musical singulier, des pointures telles que Frank Ocean et Solange ont d’ailleurs sollicité ses talents. En 2020, il rebat les cartes en sortant Ludi, à la fois disque, film et spectacle qui poursuit son désir d’harmonisation du réel. C’est le jeu, mot si important en musique, qui fonde cette construction librement inspirée du Jeu des perles de verre d’Hermann Hesse. De ce livre utopique, Chassol a imaginé un objet passionnant, qui justifie une fois encore sa place à part dans le paysage musical.
